Some Nights is the second studio album from American alternative rock band Fun. It was released on February 21, 2012 through Fueled by Ramen. It was recorded in 2011 and produced by Jeff Bhasker. After signing to a new label, the band began to work on Some Nights for over nine months throughout 2011. "We Are Young" was released as the lead single from the album and bolstered the band to mainstream success. The album has received positive reviews according to Metacritic. The band signed to Fueled by Ramen in late 2010. Lead vocalist Nate Ruess, who had apprehensions about joining a major label in the past, recalled the switch being "very, very easy" for the group, stating that both parties approached it as if they "knew what were getting into with each other.
